Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team |

Hello Resident,
27/03/26 – 01/04/26
This is a brief message from St Michael’s Team 1 to let you know some of the things we have been doing in your area this week.
Officers have issued a number of Civil Interventions to prolific shoplifting offenders within Coventry City Centre this week. Limiting their behaviour within the Ring Road. This includes Community Protection Warnings and Community Protection Notices both of which gives us more powers to stop their offending before it occurs.
Several arrests of offenders for Shoplifting, Robbery and Affray all within the City Centre. All of these offenders have been charged with their respective offences and are awaiting their day in court.
A high number of Stop Searches have been undertaken by the St Michael’s Neighbourhood Team to keep the public safe and provide reassurance.
Both Overt and Covert patrols in key locations in the City Centre to deter Anti-Social Behaviour.
As always, we haven’t done this alone and information from the public has led us to some good results. Remember you can contact us in the following ways;
Ring 999 for emergencies Ring 101 for non emergencies Report | West Midlands Police – Online reporting
For any information that could help us with ongoing crimes or Anti-Social Behaviour, please contact us via 101 or our online reporting services. Our up coming engagements for next week;
Please see dates for Coffee with a Copper February 2026 @ Coventry Transport Museum with PCSO PASSANTINO:
Tuesday 7th of April 10:00 to 11:00 Friday 10th of April 15:30 to 16:30
St Michael’s Officers will also be out with our Mobile Police Station in both Broadgate and Millennium Place between the following dates;
Wednesday 8th March 2026 Thursday 9th March 2026 Friday 10th March 2026
We will send messages on WMNOW to confirm locations and times on these dates. St Michael’s Officers will be on hand to offer Crime Prevention / Safety Advice and to address any concerns you have within the City Centre.
Please note that due to the nature of our role as officers, sometimes situations occur that are beyond our control, therefore, if we are not at an advertised event, it is because we were called to an emergency that sometimes does not give us time to contact WM Now and such like to cancel an event.
Anti-Social Behaviour continues to be at the forefront of our operations in Coventry City Centre and we are robustly taking action against perpetrators. We work in partnership with outside agencies to tackle the issues at hand and patrol areas strategically at key times.
If you are affected by Anti-Social Behaviour in Coventry City Centre, please call us on 101 or our online reporting service. 📞 How to Contact Us or Report Information 📞 🤝🏼 Thank you for working with us to keep Coventry safe and informed. See you out and about!
